ZuPreem is proud to show its dedication to veterinary students by providing $5,000 in annual scholarships to second, third and fourth year veterinary students who want to pursue specialization in one of the four exotic animal fields.
$5,000 in scholarships available for the 2020-2021 academic year
First Place Award – $2,500*
Second Place Award – $1,500
Third Place – $1,000
*First place recipient also receives an all expenses paid trip to 2020 ExoticsCon in Denver, CO. August 29 – September 3*
APPLICATION CRITERIA:
- Student must be enrolled and in good standing at a US or Canadian accredited veterinary school.
- Student must be entering their second, third or fourth year in 2020 and interested in pursuing specialization in one of the fields of exotic animal veterinary medicine.
- Send 2 letters of recommendation from a educational mentor or instructor to veterinaryscholarship@zupreem.com
- Student must complete an on-line application and submit a video no longer than 3 minutes addressing one of these topics:
– Why do I want to specialize in one of the four fields of exotic animal veterinary medicine?
– What is one of your favorite cases you have worked on? Was it inspiring and/or educational and why?
– Who or what inspired you to specialize in exotic animal health?
IMPORTANT DATES:
- August 5, 2019- application is available!
- February 14, 2020 – application deadline for submission of videos, online application and letters of recommendation
- April 17, 2020 – scholarship recipients are notified
